Make, Colour, Match, Draw and Sing like an Owl

1. Make an Owl Mask

The pdf includes instructions on how to make your mask.

You’ll also need:

• Scissors
• A lump of dough and a sharp pencil for punching holes
• A piece of elastic approximately 35cm long
• colouring pencils or crayons to decorate your mask

Tip: If your fingers are too little to do colouring in, you could try gluing on pieces of coloured tissue paper to decorate your mask instead.

Did you know that an animal that is awake at night is known as nocturnal? Here are some of the nocturnal animals that share a wood with Twoo the tawny owl. If the moon shines behind them, you might only see their outline or silhouette. Can you colour the animals and match them with their silhouettes?
